Set off yesterday at 1400, started fine, but went to sleep quite quickly before 1900 to 2200 bridge watch. Crashed out after but had long, long night with engineeering shift 0400 to 0700, got ill and threw up as engine room extremely noisy, hot and down below. Missed breakfast and slept till 11, feeling less queezy now.

Boat is rolling all over place. luckily sea calming a bit. Still good F5-6. Went up channel yesterday to Dungeness then turned round into waves and chop. Can see land off stbd side now but not sure where we are - probably Cornwall'ish.

Everyones trying to settle down into ship routine but quite a few feeling ill and just sleeping lots.

My next watch starts in 1 hr, for 3hrs then 6 off, and 3 on etc.
